Detailed Description

The module examines the definitions and development of the HRM function and provides an overview of the range of areas in which it can make a contribution to the management of an organisation. It highlights the way in which these have been adapted or developed to meet the changing needs of organisations in recent years. The module focuses on introducing the HRM function, examining the HR functions of employee resourcing; employee recruitment and selection; and employee training and development strategies.
