Diploma Supplement Diploma SupplementA diploma supplement is a document issued alongside your award containing further information about your award and the University. The Diploma Supplement is issued by Edinburgh Napier University, and follows the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO / CEPES. The purpose of the supplement is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international "transparency" and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications (certificates, diplomas and degrees). It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual named on the original qualification to which this supplement is appended. It should be free from any value judgements, equivalence statements or suggestions about recognition. The document provides information about the university and about your award. Please note that if you graduated prior to the year 2001, a copy of your transcript may be provided instead. If your request for Diploma Supplement relates to an application through the Open University, World Education Services or a similar organisation which requires additional paperwork to be filled in by the University, complete your purchase as normal.
