This module is only available for students following the MBA (Entrepreneurship) specialist route. You cannot take this module if you are studying for a generalist MBA, or an MBA with any other specialism.

The module covers the following:
The importance of new businesses to a thriving economy
Entrepreneurial thinking and aspirations
Entrepreneurial role models
The business planning process
Idea generation / development / evaluation
Market identification including exposure to market players
Researching the resources required including equipment, people, funding
Segmentation / positioning & differentiation / targeting
Developing the marketing Mix (7 P’s),
Financial planning leading to development of financial statements and realistic related assumptions
Growth aspirations of entrepreneurs
