Detailed Description

This is compulsory on BA Business Management (Finance) route.

This module will develop your abilities to analyse published financial information and apply internal financial information to the management roles of decision making, planning, control and performance evaluation.

* The analysis of published financial information and the management of working capital using investment, gearing and operational ratio analysis
* The importance of cash flow and sources of funds
* The use of cost classification and cost behaviour in the analysis of business performance and short-term decision making
* Budgeting for planning and control and the relevance of capital budgeting
